Apple announced about its plans to provide iPhone4 users with a free case at the Conference on 16th of July. The purchase price to those customers who already bought one supposed to be refunded.
However, it was difficult for consumers to guess how Apple was planning to handle the situation. The rumors talked about online registration forms provided or direct visits to Apple stores.
But the truth is that iPhone 4 Case Program allows you to select and order your case directly on your iPhone 4. All you have to do is to download an application from App store, run it, sign in, select from the list of available cases, and provide your shipping address. After 3-5 weeks your free case will be delivered.
One should keep in mind that provided the iPhone 4 is bought prior to July 23, you can claim the case till August 22. In case you purchase it from July 23 onward, you have 30 days since the program will end on September 30.
